Pet Processing Info/Inquiries
- Winter charge: In the colder months, it requires more electricity and time to process. There is a $25 fee if your pet will be processed during the colder months. This helps pay for heaters that frequently break, higher electric bills, and other needs. Keep in mind that we're located in Southern Alabama, so it stays warm here most of the year. This fee usually only applies during October-February months, but may not apply if it's a warmer year.
- Extra services: If you would like a harder articulation pose, paw prints made, partial cremation returned to you, or other special requests there may be small fees added. We do offer to wet preserve and return your pet's heart free of charge, but you will need a jar and 70% isopropyl alcohol to place it in upon arrival.
Basic Info about Inquiries
Custom requests are the lifeblood of our business. 95% of our articulations are made-to-order, which is why you will rarely see one publicly for sale. We offer a huge range of customization to make your articulation one-of-a-kind and original to you. We do not mass produce articulations in the same pose.
Commissioning an articulation gives you full control over how it'll be posed and allows you to customize the subtle details to make it fit your wants and needs.
We accept commissions on a case by case basis, and we can reject a commission for any reason we see fit. Pets have priority here at OddArticulations, LLC, and basic commissions may be set aside if a pet needs to be worked on. Many times a year, we simply do not have the space nor time to accept commissions, and we reserve the right to close commissions at any time to allow us to catch up on the surplus amount of work.
We usually have several cool animals in our freezer or as cleaned skeletons ready to be articulated, so if you're looking for anything in particular feel free to fill out the form at the bottom of the page and we'll see if we can help you out. Even if we do not have the animal you are looking for, we may know how to acquire one, or may refer you to someone else to assist with your inquiry.

Please fill out the form below to have a price quote sent to you. Please include what animal(s) you're interested in and what poses you'd be interested in. We will get back to you as soon as possible and are excited to hear from you!

I am the mom of two senior cats they are alive and well. My wife and I want to be prepared for when they pass one day. Do you guys offer pet taxidermy? We either would want them to look like they are sleeping and be soft in the middle like a stuffed animal or have a shrine with their pelt shaped into a heart with preserved paws and tail.
Hey Jamie,
It’s very smart of you to plan ahead! We do not offer traditional taxidermy, but do offer fur tanning and paw/tail preservation. If you’ll fill out the form at the bottom of the page we will get back to you with some more info, and can also refer you to a couple taxidermists that specialize in pets if that’s the route you’d rather take
how much for the whole prosses?
Hi. I have a big kitty who hasn’t passed yet, I’m just wondering how much it would be to have only his skull or if that’s even an option. I glanced over the site, so if this was covered somewhere and I missed it I apologize.
Hey Amu,
If you’ll fill out the form on this page we’ll get back to you with pricing and everything else you’ll need to know
